Forestburg has no trouble against Perrin-Whitt

Recap: Forestburg Longhorns vs. Perrin-Whitt Pirates

The Forestburg Longhorns entered their tilt with the Perrin-Whitt Pirates with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Forestburg took down Perrin-Whitt 43-25 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Forestburg also won the last time the pair played back in November.

Forestburg's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jocelyn Rich, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals. Rich has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Braylee Briles, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Forestburg is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Perrin-Whitt, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Forestburg will take on Thackerville at TBD on Thursday. Perrin-Whitt is on the road again on Thursday and play against Community Christian at 2:00 p.m. on December 7th. Community Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
