Basketball Game Preview: Lakeview Bulldogs vs. McKinley Red Dragons

The Lakeview Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the McKinley Red Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lakeview is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were dealt a 73-44 defeat at the hands of Poland Seminary.

Meanwhile, McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 61-38 to Howland. While losing is never fun, the Red Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 569th, while the Tigers are ranked 259th).

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for McKinley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Lakeview took their victory against McKinley in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 61-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lakeview since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
