Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Calvary Christian Academy). They claimed a resounding 63-27 win over the Faith Baptist School Falcons. This was payback for the LIONS, who suffered a 58-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Devin Culbertson, who posted 13 points. That was a full 48.1% of Faith Baptist School's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sammy Amon HS, who scored four points.

The victory (which was Calvary Christian Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 4-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Faith Baptist School, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Calvary Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 51-42 defeat against Aquinas Academy on the 21st.
