Baseball Recap: Liberty Find Success

Liberty's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal. The victory continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Bengal: they've now won five in a row.

Ethan Carroll was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Liberty is 7-2 when Carroll posts two or more runs, but 4-8 otherwise. Cade Collins was another key player, earning one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

Liberty hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.

Liberty now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Brashier Middle College Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Liberty beat the Bengal by a score of 11-0 later that day.
