The Thatcher Eagles and the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Thatcher took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They breezed by Andrada Polytechnic to the tune of 69-21. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy humbled Rio Rico with a 71-29 victory. While fans of the Lions might be used to big wins, the 42-point margin marked the team's biggest one yet.

The victory made it two in a row for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-10. As for Thatcher, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.

Thatcher didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-45 victory.
