Baseball Recap: Antelope Comes Up Short

Antelope came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to the Desert Heights Prep Yote. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Antelope saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tripp Taylor, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Antelope's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Desert Heights Prep, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Yote beat Antelope by a score of 16-1 later that day.
