Basketball Recap: Lyman Takes Down Harding County in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Lyman had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Harding County Ranchers by a score of 57-48 on Friday. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Ranchers, too.

Several Ranchers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kamry Padden, who shot 40% from the field en route to 15 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Macey Wendt, who posted 11 points and six steals.

Lyman has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Harding County and nudges their season record down to 21-2.

Lyman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 38-35 loss against Parkston on the 15th. As for Harding County, they have also already played their next game, a 48-39 win against Deubrook on the 15th.
