Basketball Recap: Rock Creek Academy's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rock Creek Academy posted their closest win since December 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the West Washington Senators 60-58. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Rock Creek Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points over those games. As for West Washington, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Creek Academy will head out to take on Clarksville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rock Creek Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Clarksville likes a good challenge. As for West Washington, they will head out on the road to challenge Shoals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
