Baseball Recap: West Branch Takes a Loss

West Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wilton Beavers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-0 loss on Monday.

West Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Wilton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Branch will host Cascade on Saturday. As for Wilton, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Highland at 7:00 p.m.
