Volleyball Recap: Warner Comes Up Short

Warner extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 6-10. They lost 3-0 to the Julian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Tuesday.

As for Julian, they now have a winning record of 11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory they have posted against Warner since October 13, 2022.

Julian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cami Siraton, who had ten aces and three digs. Siraton is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Janeyris Henriquez also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Coming up, Warner will welcome Calexico Mission at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Julian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against West Shores on the 16th.
