Basketball Recap: Carver Gets the Win + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Carver challenged Alcovy on Tuesday. The Panthers managed a 62-57 victory over the Tigers. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly five points.

Alcovy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jakori Pinelle, who posted 19 points. Antione Graves was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The win made it two in a row for Carver and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Alcovy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver and Woodland will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Wolfpack have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Alcovy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ola at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
