Basketball Recap: Bridgewater-Raritan Takes a Loss

Bridgewater-Raritan lost against Montgomery back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers fell 65-53 to the Montgomery Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Cougars are ranked 19th).

Bridgewater-Raritan's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Montgomery, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Bridgewater-Raritan will square off against The Pingry School at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. The Pingry School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.9 points per game this season. Montgomery has already played their next contest, a 63-59 defeat against Rutgers Prep on the 30th.
