Chaparral is a perfect 10-0 against Douglass since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Chaparral Roadrunners will be playing at home against the Douglass Bulldogs. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Chaparral ended up a good deal behind Garden Plain and lost 58-42.

Meanwhile, Douglass had to suffer through an 82-29 loss at the hands of Cheney. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Cardinals are ranked 27th).

Chaparral's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points over those games. As for Douglass, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13-1 record this season.

Chaparral strolled past Douglass when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 52-33. Will Chaparral repeat their success, or does Douglass have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
