Baseball Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Foundation Christian Academy took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Victory Christian Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Storm on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Caleb Hom was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hom wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Levi Rickley, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.
