MacArthur waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Classen SAS Comets a 12-0 shutout. While the Highlanders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 15-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

MacArthur's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Classen SAS, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: MacArthur beat the Comets by a score of 15-0 on Tuesday.
