Lafayette County entered their tilt with Lexington on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Minutemen with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Monday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lafayette County was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 25-14.

Sophie Frank paced Lafayette County's offense, picking up seven kills. Frank got some help from Katie Draisey and her 21 assists. Makenna Riekhof controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Lafayette County's victory bumped their record up to 19-1-2. As for Lexington, their loss was their 13th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-23.

Lafayette County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Carrollton on the 9th. As for Lexington, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Richmond on the 9th.
