Basketball Game Preview: Bloomingdale Cardinals vs. White Pigeon Chiefs

The Bloomingdale Cardinals will face off against the White Pigeon Chiefs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Bloomingdale has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while White Pigeon will arrive with four straight victories.

Last Tuesday, Bloomingdale had to suffer through a 48-21 loss at the hands of Decatur.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask White Pigeon). They blew past Hartford 67-24 on Tuesday. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 24 points or more this season.

White Pigeon's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bloomingdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Things could have been worse for Bloomingdale, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 44-27 loss to White Pigeon in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Bloomingdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
