Pine Bluffs posted their closest win since September 13th on Friday. They skirted past the Wright Panthers 3-2. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hattie Lerwick paced Pine Bluffs' offense, picking up 14 kills. Lerwick got some help from Kadee Bruns and her 32 assists. Bruns was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wright's loss came despite strong showings from McKenzie Zimbleman and Dani Barnhurst. Zimbleman had ten digs, while Barnhurst had nine kills and seven digs.

Pine Bluffs' win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Wright, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-19 record this season.
