Basketball Recap: Chanelle Davis Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Trinity

Bell posted their biggest win since December 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Trinity Trojans with a sharp 47-25 victory. Given the Blue Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Trojans are ranked 610th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bell's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chanelle Davis, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Davis a new career-high in points. Jaida James was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Bell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive matchups.
