Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

If Edison was feeling good fresh off their 12-4 takedown of Glenpool on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Edison lost 14-4 to the Catoosa Indians on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 two weeks ago.

Edison has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. Catoosa moved to 6-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will square off against Locust Grove at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Catoosa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Checotah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Catoosa is facing Checotah at the right time seeing as Checotah is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
