The Edison Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the East Brunswick Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Edison put up the most runs they have all season on Tuesday. They put the hurt on South Brunswick with a sharp 11-0 win. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16, 2024 (when they won 13-0).

The team relied heavily on Dom Innocenti, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-2. Those home runs were his first of the season. Robert Roma was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Edison always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Brunswick only posted an OBP of .118.

East Brunswick let Ryan Kenul and Joe Spinello run wild. Kenul got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while Spinello went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Spinello has become a key player for East Brunswick: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Satterthwaite, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Edison's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7. As for East Brunswick, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
