Lafayette was the 9-8 winner over Jamestown when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lafayette saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Breccan O'Grady, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Jamestown, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7.
