Baseball Recap: Saucon Valley Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Saucon Valley walked away with it. They came out on top against the Lehighton Indians by a score of 4-1 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in April.

The team relied heavily on Cole Hubert, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in March.

Saucon Valley pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Lehighton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
