Soccer Recap: Amory Takes a Loss

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Amory was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They fell just short of the Booneville Blue Devils by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Booneville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 two weeks ago.

Amory's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Booneville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2.

Looking ahead, Amory will head out on the road to take on Mooreville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Booneville, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Mississippi School for Mathematics & Science at 7:00 p.m.
