Volleyball Game Preview: Ashland Clockers vs. Shrewsbury Colonials

Ashland is 1-6 against Shrewsbury since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Clockers will look to defend their home court against the Colonials at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Ashland was able to grind out a solid victory over Norwood, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Clockers.

Ashland walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-27, 25-14.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Shrewsbury and Leominster, and Shrewsbury kept the tradition alive. The Colonials were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Devils on Monday.

Shrewsbury was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-18, 25-17.

Shrewsbury's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Ashland, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
