Recap: Winston-Salem Christian Lions vs. Hough Huskies
On Saturday, Winston-Salem Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Hough, but they still walked away with a 57-51 win.
Despite the loss, Hough still got an impressive performance from Evan Otto, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Desautels, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Winston-Salem Christian's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-13. As for Hough, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Winston-Salem Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Greater Vision Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Winston-Salem Christian is on a three-game streak of home wins, Greater Vision Academy a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Hough, they will head out on the road to challenge West Charlotte at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hough is facing West Charlotte at the right time seeing as West Charlotte is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
