Baseball Recap: Purdue Poly Englewood vs. Indianapolis Crispus Attucks Tigers

Purdue Poly Englewood gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Everything went their way against the Indianapolis Crispus Attucks Tigers as Purdue Poly Englewood made off with a 10-2 victory.

Colten Ridenour and Kin Chow made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Ridenour pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Meanwhile, Chow didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. At the plate, Ridenour scored two runs and stole two bases, while Chow scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Jonquil Muse and Jackson Jeffers did most of the damage at the plate: Muse scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Jeffers scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
