Soccer Game Preview: West Davidson vs. Wheatmore + Official Tickets

The West Davidson Dragons will face off against the Wheatmore Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Davidson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, West Davidson turned things around against Thomasville on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time West Davidson have been dealt a draw since back in September.

Their goal came courtesy of Eddie Zamora, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wheatmore, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over East Davidson on Wednesday. Wheatmore found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: four Wheatmore players were handed yellow cards.

West Davidson's draw gives them a new season record of 7-6-5. As for Wheatmore, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
