Baseball Recap: Vanoss Comes Up Short

If Vanoss was riding high fresh off their 11-3 takedown of Destiny Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vanoss Wolves fell just short of the Union City Tigers by a score of 8-7 on Tuesday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Vanoss' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Union City, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Vanoss will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Stonewall at 4:00 p.m. on March 24th. As for Union City, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Destiny Christian on the 11th.
