Softball Recap: Craigmont Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Craigmont had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 17-0 to the Millington Central Trojans on Wednesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Millington Central and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Coming up, Craigmont will square off against Fayette Ware at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fayette Ware is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season. As for Millington Central, they will face off against Briarcrest Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
