Soccer Game Preview: Nansemond-Suffolk Academy vs. Catholic

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints will venture away from home to square off against the Catholic Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy came up short against Norfolk Academy on Thursday, falling 6-1.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Catholic was forced to settle for a draw. They and John Paul II Catholic finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Catholic's goal came courtesy of Jason Preble, who's now up to eight this season.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy now has a losing record of 4-5-1. Catholic's draw makes their record 4-7-1 this season.

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Catholic in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
