Softball Recap: Manson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Okanogan on Tuesday, Manson came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 24-17. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 32-19.

Manson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Okanogan, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manson will take on Omak at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.57 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Okanogan, they will challenge Brewster at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
