Camden County falls despite strong effort from Elyiss Williams

On Tuesday, Camden County came up short against Impact Christian Academy and fell 64-51.
Despite the loss, Camden County still got an impressive performance from Elyiss Williams, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Williams is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Ja'Marley Riddle was another key contributor, scoring five points along with four steals.
Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Impact Christian Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camden County will face off against Colquitt County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Colquitt County is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. As for Impact Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Providence School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Providence School presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Impact Christian Academy in Florida (Providence School is ranked 19th, while Impact Christian Academy is ranked 179th).
