 It was a good run, but  Culver Academies unfortunately witnessed the end of their  six-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost  11-1 to the New Prairie Cougars. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  runs Culver Academies has scored all season.
 Culver Academies saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Foster Stockton, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double. Stockton has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On New Prairie's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Reed Robinson, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tyson Greenwood, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Culver Academies' defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for New Prairie, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Culver Academies will take on Argos at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Culver Academies will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive. New Prairie will take on Bremen at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. New Prairie's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1  runs per game  this season, so Bremen's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
