Football Game Preview: Wynne Yellowjackets vs. Valley View Blazers

The Wynne Yellowjackets will challenge the Valley View Blazers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Wynne didn't have quite enough to beat Greene County Tech and fell 17-14.

Meanwhile, Valley View had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 27-0 victory over the Wildcats. Considering the Blazers have won three matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Valley View's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Wynne, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Wynne took a serious blow against Valley View in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 31-0. Thankfully for the Yellowjackets, Drew Gartman (who rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 183 yards and one TD while completing 78.3% of his passes) won't be suiting up this time.
