Volleyball Recap: Boca Raton Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Boca Raton posted their closest win since October 30, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Seminole Ridge Hawks, sneaking past 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Boca Raton who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 28-26, 21-25, 15-11.

Boca Raton can attribute much of their success to Hadley Clark, who had 14 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Clark has posted over her last seven matches.

Boca Raton's victory ended a five-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-7. As for Seminole Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Coincidentally, Boca Raton and Seminole Ridge will both be playing Legacy the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
