Football Recap: Lakota Tech Tatanka vs. Custer Wildcats
Lakota Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 69-16 defeat at the hands of the Custer Wildcats. The Tatanka were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 63-16.
Custer found their leader in sophomore Riley Trout, who rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was David Lewis, who gained 54 total yards and two touchdowns.
Lakota Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Custer, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.
As of now, neither Lakota Tech nor Custer have any future games scheduled.
