Basketball Recap: Fort Thomas Skates Past Dishchii'bikoh with Ease

Fort Thomas won the last time they faced Dishchii'bikoh and things went their way on Thursday too. The Fort Thomas Apaches really took it to the Dishchii'bikoh Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-28 win. The Apaches have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 27 points or more this season.

Fort Thomas found their leader in sophomore Jamie Johnson, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 13 points in addition to six steals and five boards. Corey Cody was another key player, going 5 of 7 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Fort Thomas smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.
