Waverly not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since January 23rd. They breezed past the Everett Vikings to the tune of 72-13. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while the Vikings are ranked 569th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Waverly and bumps their season record up to 10-11. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.5 points on average over those games. As for Everett, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Coming up, Waverly will take on East Lansing at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Everett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
