Basketball Recap: Crestwood Skates Past St. Ansgar with Ease

After losing to St. Ansgar the last time they met, Crestwood decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crestwood Cadets breezed by the St. Ansgar Saints to the tune of 75-48 on Monday. The Cadets didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Crestwood's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for St. Ansgar, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Crestwood will square off against Dover-Eyota at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Dover-Eyota knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Crestwood likes a good challenge. St. Ansgar has already played their next matchup, a 61-26 defeat against Northwood-Kensett on the 4th.
