Softball Recap: Beamer Takes a Loss

Beamer managed to slip by Jefferson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans lost 26-13 to the Raiders on Thursday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Annette Sagale made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Lauren Williams was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Beamer's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Jefferson, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beamer will square off against Federal Way at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Jefferson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fife at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
