Football Game Preview: Gilbert Tigers vs. Lewis Central Titans

The Gilbert Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lewis Central Titans on Friday. Gilbert will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Gilbert is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Iowa's top teams: North Polk, who was ranked 24th at the time (Gilbert was ranked 19th). The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Comets 49-18. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won five games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lewis Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They claimed a resounding 53-16 win over Jefferson. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Lewis Central now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Gilbert, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.
