Soccer Game Preview: Northview vs. Danville

The Northview Knights will take on the Danville Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Northview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Cascade as they made off with a 7-1 win. It was an even better day for Addie Modglin as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Danville made easy work of Edgewood on Tuesday and carried off a 4-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Danville.

Danville now has a winning record of 8-7-2. As for Northview, their win bumped their record up to 7-8-2.

Northview couldn't quite get it done against Danville when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
