Grinnell got themselves on the board against Center Point-Urbana on Monday, but Center Point-Urbana never followed suit. They blew past the Stormin' Pointers 8-0. Considering the Tigers have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Grinnell and bumps their season record up to 10-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Center Point-Urbana, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
