Moses Brown is ranked highly in their home state and on Monday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Putnam Science Academy. The Moses Brown Quakers took an 87-68 bruising from Putnam Science Academy. The Quakers' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Several Quakers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Donovan Clement, who shot 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards. Clement is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last ten games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Otis Crosby, who posted 21 points and six boards.

Even though they lost, Moses Brown smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive matchups.

Moses Brown's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-2. As for Putnam Science Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moses Brown will take on Woonsocket at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
