Baseball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Cherokee suffered their closest loss since May 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hiwassee Dam Eagles by a score of 6-4. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Hiwassee Dam, they moved to 2-9-1 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

While Cherokee had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
