Lake View is 9-1 against Schurz since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will square off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. The last three games Lake View has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Lake View sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Rickover Naval. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Seadragons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Lake View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-20, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Schurz was able to grind out a solid victory over Alcott on Thursday, taking the game 2-0.

While Schurz might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Alcott scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21.

Schurz's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Lake View, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Lake View beat Schurz 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
