It was a good run, but Bloomington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Fontana Steelers 56-52. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 773rd, while the Steelers are ranked 343rd).

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Fontana, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomington will face off against Rim of the World at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bloomington is facing Rim of the World at the right time seeing as Rim of the World is stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Fontana, they will host Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
