Softball Recap: Westover Takes a Loss

Westover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-6 to the Terry Sanford Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-2 on Thursday.

Westover saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Krymsyn Head, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Westover's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Terry Sanford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Westover and Terry Sanford will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Wolverines see the field they'll take on E.E. Smith at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Terry Sanford, their break will end when they face Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
