Football Game Preview: Keenan Raiders vs. Fox Creek Predators

Two dominant backs in Hunter O'Neal and Bryson Crawford are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Keenan Raiders will head out to square off against the Fox Creek Predators at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keenan is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Friday, Keenan lost to Silver Bluff on the road by a 27-8 margin.

Meanwhile, Fox Creek played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 41-14 loss at the hands of Newberry. The Predators were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Although Fox Creek took the loss, they still got scores from Crawford and Kamal Grant.

Even if they lost, Fox Creek's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. John Truesdell was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last five games he's played. Fox Creek received some extra help from Grant, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Keenan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Fox Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Keenan against Fox Creek in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
